R&M Current Openings:

R&M is currently in need of a GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEER; ENGINEERING GEOLOGIST or GEOLOGIST. Experience is desired, but will consider a graduate of a civil, geology, or engineering geology program. Experience in Juneau and Southeast Alaska is also desired. Position includes supervising and operating soils and rock exploration/drilling equipment (mechanical aptitude required); conducting soils, asphalt and concrete materials laboratory testing and inspection; preparing soils exploration logs; and preparing technical reports with engineering recommendations (roads, utilities and structures).

R&M is currently in need of a CIVIL ENGINEER; with 5 to 6 years of experience. Professional registration and/or experience in Juneau and Southeast Alaska are desired. Position may include project management, design, technical reports and inspection on a wide range of civil project including; highways, airports site development; utilities/sewer; storm sewer, drainage and structures. AutoCad experience a plus.

R&M is currently in need of a CIVIL ENGINEER WITH A STRUCTURAL BACKGROUND OR A STRUCTURAL TITLE. Experience with references is desired. CE or SE license/title is desired. Experience in Juneau and Southeast Alaska is also desired. Position will primarily be design and structural assessment of buildings. Position may include retaining walls; docks, floats and other structures. Experience with timber, steel, concrete and masonry desired. AutoCad experience a plus.

R&M is currently in need of an AUTOCAD TECHNICIAN. Experience with references is required. Experience in Juneau and Southeast Alaska and management experience is desired. Position will include engineering and land surveying CAD work in AutoCad 2002 and Eagle Point 2003. Position may include or advancement to management of 2 to 5 Cad Technicians.
